That just makes me think what positive thoughts can stir in a person. What is your self-talk?
Is it positive? Do you encourage yourself? It is possible to change your thoughts to the positive.
It’s contagious! You could be the bright spot in someone else’s day! Challenge yourself to make a difference every day in someone’s life! Start today with the person next to you or the next phone call!
After all, we are in the people business!
Thank you for the great reminder, Teresa! It is just as important to encourage yourself as it is to encourage others.
Ever heard the saying, “You are your own worst enemy”? I’m certainly guilty of being harder on myself than anyone else ever is. I think the best way to have poositive self-talk is to confide in and be accountable to your friends. I find encouragement and positive thought when those closest to me bring me back into focus and reassure me the glass is always half full.
Be blessed!

Thank you Teresa for the great reminder and encouragement! I agree with what Emily has said—We are all part of an amazing company where we can always count on someone to lift up our spirits, listen to us, pray, laugh, etc. Having a supportive team has helped me to have a positive self-talk.
Have a great day everyone!

Wow, what an interesting concept! The human brain producing enough energy for 24 hours of light!!
Giving thought to Emily’s quote she posted and asking myself what is my self talk, that can be anywhere from “Stephanie, OMGosh, seriously, what are you thinking” to “OK, Stephanie, you’ve passed over another hurdle/obstacle, not bad. You can do this” to “Wow, I did it, and I’m still alive”.
Giving thought to my “word” for the year – SERVE, it has opened some amazing windows and doors of opportunity in all areas of my life – work, personally, and spiritually.
I start every morning in prayer, thankful for the opportunity to serve, wondering who will cross my path for the day, every day. There are times during some of those days where I have to refocus, but it always brings me back to a good place…
Soooo, if the human brain, (WHEN AWAKE), produces enough energy to provide light for 24 hours, then there is still light shining when you are asleep!
Nice, I like it!!!!!
