My post is a little late but what I took away from the Go Giver class stays with me! I attended the classes on November 8th and 9th. Being a PR assistant, this class was especially valuable to me. It’s so important to present ourselves in the best way possible. Applying the values this class covered not only benefits us, but our clients as well and it’s so rewarding knowing you’ve done your best to make a positive impact.
I found that I already held a lot of these same values and try to express them often: being giving, choosing positivity, building rapport through listening well and understanding which ways I could be more helpful. But I aim to do better. It’s refreshing and so much more tangible when Terri put it all into words. She highlighted and reaffirmed a lot of things that I hadn’t taken the time to put into structured thought myself. Gratitude is a huge part of all of this that puts everything into perspective and when we make it a daily practice, we can really soar in our service. I want to do better not only within our company but also with clients, vendors, business partners.. all the individuals I come into contact within my position (and my family/friends too). Can’t wait to read the books that inspired the class and be more diligent with my gratitude journal. I am certainly inspired to do and give more in my professional and personal life.
Once again, it was such a pleasure to take a class led by Terri Tucker. She is so enthralling and honestly passionate about the great values she teaches to uphold our special Phoenix Culture. And as always, Teresa puts so much work into making everything special. It does not go unappreciated. The meal was wonderful, thoughtful, and beautifully set. I am honored to be at Phoenix!
